TESTIMONIALS

Our daughter, Hannah, started working with Brigette at age three. About six months prior, Hannah was diagnosed with GMFCS 1 Spastic Cerebral Palsy. As a family and with Brigette’s guidance, we pursued an elective surgery called Selective Dorsal Rhizotomy at Johns Hopkins in Baltimore, MD. The surgery reduced the spasticity Hannah experienced in her lower limbs. Preparation for the surgery required a specific combination of strengthening exercises. Brigette fully supported Hannah as she prepared for the surgery and worked seamlessly with the inpatient rehab we utilized for the five weeks post op. Following the surgery, Hannah had a very stringent physical therapy regiment. Over the course of two years, we slowly reduced PT visits from five days per week back to the typical once per week. During this period, Brigette never hesitated to expand her knowledge in order to better support Hannah. She made PT a joyful and engaging experience for Hannah. As a parent, this meant the world to me! I admire anyone who can actively and purposefully engage a three year old in physically challenging exercises five days a week! Brigette  will forever be a part of Hannah’s success story! - Parents of Hannah
